How to create a Text Link

Use text widget to add links to a specific search result


Text widget allows you to easily create custom affiliate links. The text link is one of our most popular feature for it's flexibility to be used by all websites to effectively redirect users to your recommended travel accommodations and destinations.

Create a text link

Navigate to Tools and click Text Links.




Select a site you wish to use the text link for, and the default site language when user opens the link. If user has visited site before with a different language, this default will be overridden.



Select your destination city or property to which you want to direct user to



Text link will now be automatically generated. Try it or copy over to your site.



Common questions

I selected a specific property. Why does the link direct me to a city page?
We continuously test the landing experience for users coming from our text links to improve their experience and thereby conversion rate. We found that landing the user to the city where the property is located with the property itself displayed as the first result is better in terms of conversion than taking the user directly to that property’s page. We currently do not support linking to a specific property.

What is partnersearch?
Partnersearch* is our router which determines where user is directed to within Agoda. We use this router to continuously test different landing experiences and select the most optimal ones in terms of user experience and conversion.

Can I add custom tag?
All partners are able to manually add custom tags. To do so please generate a text link and append the following to your link: &tag={tag1}_{tag2}_{tag3}
For example:
https://www.agoda.com/partners/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&cid=1234567&tag={tag1}_{tag2}_{tag3}

You can find the tags that were used to complete a booking in your report.
